Welcome to my Genshin Log

Genshin Impact is my favorite game, I think I've played it for years and years at this point with occasional breaks. I'm not the biggest sweat about it but I wouldn't consider myself a casual either. This game means a lot to me, it's very magical and lovely.

A lot of the stories features themes that truly resonate with me, like Sandrone and Wanderer (Who I named Shinzo and will be refferred to as so from now on) sharing themes of family and trauma. I think the fact that they can grow up and learn to overcome difficult parts of their life can be quite . . #hopecore I'm not good at being mushy

columbina My favorite character Columbina Hyposelenia!

Genshin favorites

liyue

Region

Liyue is my favorite region, there's a lot of bias there because, I happen to grow up in an area that has big relations to places that inspired Liyue. It's ethereal and beautiful, they slayed with all the details in this region, especially Chenyu Vale aaa

nahida

Archon

Nahida is the most compelling archon for me. Like the archon lineup is STACKED in terms of likability but the whole Sumeru quest and what Nahida represents as a character is sooo cool to me. The god of wisdom is a child! Of course!! Wisdom is the act of learning and questioning the world, like a child! Of course!

hyperbloom

Elemental Reaction

Hyperbloom is the most fun to play comp, it feels satisfying to finish the bloom setup and be rewarded with a huge chunk of damange from the electro app. Unlike bloom teams (which probably did more damage), hyperbloom is triggered by you, and that feels great!!

Element

Hydro I found to be quite thematically interesting, I think it represents justice in the sense that the flood brings down a certain kind of justice as a consequence of the Fontanian's original sin; but other than that, it's just really fun to play. Hydro is the basis for a lot of my favorite reactions. Like I mentioned hyperbloom, electro-charged, and freeze.
